The Catalan American Council (CAC) is an independent, nonpartisan, non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to serving and promoting the Catalan-American community’s interests in the United States, as well as to foster collaboration between the United States and the Catalan linguistic and cultural territories of Europe including:

Alghero (Sardinia, Italy); Andorra (Andorra); Balearic Islands (Spain); Catalonia (Spain); Valencian Country (Spain); Northern Catalonia (Pyrénées-Orientales, France); Western Strip (Franja de Ponent in Aragón, Spain).

The CAC is organized and operated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization
based in Washington, DC, and is funded entirely by private donations.
