Catalan American Council (CAC) is an independent, nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to advancing the interests of the Catalan American community in the United States and strengthening transatlantic collaboration with the Catalan linguistic and cultural territories of Europe, including:

• Alghero (Sardinia, Italy)

• Andorra (Andorra)

• Balearic Islands (Spain)

• Catalonia (Spain)

• Valencian Community (Spain)

• Northern Catalonia (Pyrénées-Orientales, France)

• Western Strip (Franja de Ponent in Aragón, Spain)
  

We work to connect communities, promote cultural and professional exchange, and amplify the collective voice and impact of Catalan Americans through research, initiatives, and strategic partnerships.

The CAC is organized and operated as a Washington, DC–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded entirely through private donations.

Our work is independent, community-driven, and focused on long-term impact — from strengthening identity and representation to building meaningful transatlantic partnerships.
